After a period of major transformation, EnerMech, a global energy services company needed a website that better reflected their capabilities, global reach and evolving business strategy.
The previous site had become outdated in both design and functionality. It was content-heavy, difficult to navigate and not effectively communicating the company’s core capabilities or differentiators. Internally, it was also difficult to update and manage, limiting agility and responsiveness.
Our challenge was to create a clear, modern website that simplifies their complex service offering, whilst showcasing their expertise, and positions them as a trusted partner to clients around the world.
Identifying gaps to guide a more user-focused redesign
Through stakeholder interviews, competitor benchmarking and a review of site analytics, we found that the website wasn’t always making it easy for users to grasp the full scope of EnerMech’s services. Important case studies and examples of sector expertise were sometimes difficult to locate, particularly in priority areas, and the company’s strengths in culture, people and safety were not fully represented.
These insights helped shape a more user-centred, goal-driven approach to the redesign.
A collaborative redesign built for clarity, impact and ease of use
We delivered a complete redesign and rebuild of the site’s information architecture, design and content strategy. Working collaboratively with EnerMech’s marketing and key stakeholders, we developed:
• A helpful, intuitive navigation centred on user needs and key business priorities
• A design that better reflects the brand’s expertise and global scale
• A modular content framework to support storytelling around services, sectors, people and case studies
• Improved mobile responsiveness and accessibility compliance
• A CMS setup to enable the internal team to update or add content easily and efficiently
Additionally, we also ran CMS training to make sure their team is fully equipped to manage, adapt and grow the site without unnecessary developer support.

The redesigned website received strong feedback from both internal teams and external audiences.
Internally, the marketing team now has the flexibility and confidence to manage and evolve the site, while the business has a more accurate and compelling digital platform that keeps pace with their ambitions.
The new site better tells the EnerMech story – putting people, operational excellence and expertise at the heart of the user experience, supporting their business development goals, and scales as their services evolve.
